Job Summary | The Operations Specialist provides operational support for, oversees the day-to-day operations of, and serves as the first point of contact for the office of International Services for Students and Scholars (ISSS), and provides secondary support to the Office of International Programs (OIP). The Specialist also provides triage of student immigration issues and handles multiple issues and concerns as they arise from students, staff, faculty, administrative offices and, on occasion, parents and families. |

Job Summary | The Administrative Specialist independently performs a variety of advanced administrative tasks, in person, for the Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies (CBIS). The Specialist works closely alongside the Administrative Coordinator to perform a variety of clerical tasks to ensure the efficiency of the department's processes. This position also uses advanced computer skills to perform word processing, update data files, and manage spreadsheets, as well as to maintain and reconcile purchases and invoices. The Specialist serves as the main point of contact for both internal and external customers at all levels for inquiries such as, but not limited to, access requests, room reservations, purchase orders, etc. In addition to these clerical tasks, the Administrative Specialist will work alongside the Administrative Coordinator to plan and organize events for both internal and external collaborators of our department. |
Minimum Qualifications | High School/Equivalent and three (3) or more years of related experience is required. Candidates must be organized, and proficient with standard office technology, including MS Office products. Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered. |

Job Summary | The E-Learning Specialist designs, coordinates, and implements comprehensive learning programs that align with RPI’s strategies and objectives, using the principles of adult learning and instructional design. The E-Learning Specialist facilitates conversations with content experts, builds learning resources and engages with a cross-functional team to engage in a continuous evaluation of the effectiveness and quality of those resources. Job Summary | The Administrative Specialist serves as the primary point of contact in the Office of the President for visitors and callers and is responsible for ensuring that all parties receive prompt, professional and courteous attention when contacting the President’s Office. The Administrative Specialist may independently respond to inquiries, assist the visitor/caller on appropriate next steps, or direct to the appropriate person or department. In addition, the Specialist acts as the Building Coordinator for the Troy Building; is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the offices on the 3rd and 4th floors designated to the President; ensures that office supplies and equipment are inventoried and maintained; and ensures that electronic and paper records are filed and/or destroyed as appropriate. Additionally, the Administrative Specialist performs a full range of secretarial and administrative duties supporting the President’s staff. The position requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and customer focus that must be demonstrated and maintained. |
